In the fifth month of 1594-1595, the religious scholar Abdürrahim b. Pîrî complained that Kalender Çavuş b. Hasan had stolen some of his goods. The court case gives a listing of his stolen goods:

- bir laciverd çuka ferâce: A navy blue wool broadcloth ferâce
- bir alaca peşkir: A striped or patterned napkin
- on beş zirâ‘ bez: A length of cotton cloth
- bir dülbend: A wrapping cloth for a turban
- neftî Borlu bezi: Dark green cotton cloth from Borlu
- üç aded abdest makraması: Three washcloths
- bir köhne dülbend örtüsü: An old turban cover?
- bir köhne sâde: An old robe
- bir mor saçaklı mor çuka: An overcoat of purple wool broadcloth with purple fringe. Purple was a dark, somber color appropriate for outer clothing.
- bir yeşil zenne çuka ferâce: A woman’s ferâce of green wool broadcloth
- bir frengi saçaklı mor çuka ferâce: Literally a “European fringed purple wool broadcloth ferâce.” It’s not clear whether the fringe was European, or the wool, or the entire garment.
- bir kemhâ saçaklı laciverd çuka ferâce: Literally “brocade fringed navy blue wool broadcloth ferâce.”
- bir yeşil çuka ferâce: A green wool broadcloth ferâce
